Fall Festivities

From the pumpkin patch to the pumpkin carving and trick-or-treating, Caden loved it all.  Although, getting free candy on Halloween was definitely his favorite.  The pumpkin patch had a humongous slide and Brian went down it with Caden but Caden was too freaked out to enjoy it.  He spent the rest of his time there on the swings, in the bouncer and pretending all the pumpkins were drums.

After we picked out the perfect pumpkin we brought it home and Brian carved the perfect face on it.

For Halloween we dressed Caden as a rockstar, which means we pretty much just gave him a mohawk and called it a day.  We tried to get him to carry his guitar around but he didn't want to.

The Results Are In

The big moment was here.  Surrounded by friends and family we were ready to cut the cake!  Would it be pink or blue?  The anticipation was growing.  Out of the 22 people that came 9 thought it would be a boy and 13 thought it would be a girl.

Caden was dying to dig into the cake...i'm sure he
thought it was his birthday. =)

One more pose before the cut!

Look at all the grandparents...they
can hardly stand it!

IT'S BLUE!  Another boy. We are SO excited!

Boy or Girl???

So we had our big ultrasound on October 13th. We had the ultrasound tech write down the gender and seal it in an envelope without telling us what the baby is. We then gave the envelope to a friend who is going to bake us a cake. If the envelope says 'boy' she will dye the inside of the cake blue. If it says 'girl' she will dye it pink. So this Sunday we will be having a gender reveal party and we will be cutting the cake to find out if we are having another beautiful boy or our first sweet little girl. Can't wait! I will keep you posted! Here are a couple pictures from the ultrasound:
